Terms and Conditions

  1. Application and approval conditions
    • Caroline Alloin, with company number BE0.878.309.462 and located in 3210 Linden (Belgium), Houwaartstraat 42, offers the ordering and sale of products via www.vera-lynn.be (hereinafter "the seller"). The general terms and conditions of sale apply and are those of the seller.
    • "Buyer" means any natural person or legal entity who purchases one or more products via the webshop, as well as any visitor to the webshop.
    • These terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales offered and realized via the webshop www.vera-lynn.be, as well as other agreements concluded via the webshop.
    • These conditions apply to the exclusion of all other conditions, in particular those applicable to sales in the seller's store.
    • The seller only delivers in Belgium & the Netherlands. Therefore, the seller can only accept your order if the delivery address is in Belgium or the Netherlands and is not a PO Box address.
    • By placing an order via the webshop, the buyer declares that he has taken note of the terms and conditions of sale and accepts them.
    • If one or more provisions of these terms and conditions are declared invalid by a court decision, the other provisions of these terms and conditions of sale will remain in full force.

  2. The sales agreement between the seller and the buyer is only concluded after the order has been paid by the (potential) buyer, the seller informs the buyer of this by means of a confirmation email.

  3. Prices
    • The prices of the products are stated in euros, including VAT, except shipping costs.
    • The seller reserves the right to change prices at any time; however, products will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time of order acceptance.
    • The seller cannot be held responsible for (typo) errors in his offers that can reasonably be assumed to be (typos) errors.
    • The price payable is that stated in the confirmation email.
    • The seller reserves the right to change the price due after the conclusion of the agreement, for example as a result of price changes that affect shipping costs, new taxes or (typo) errors.
    • If the price is increased, the buyer has the right to terminate the agreement without costs, and the seller is not obliged to pay any compensation.
    • The products remain the property of the seller until the price has been fully and finally paid.

  4. Payment
    • Information about the accepted payment methods will be provided during the purchase process.
    • All payments are processed by external service providers. Therefore, www.vera-lynn.be does not collect payment details, such as credit card information, but only receives a confirmation after payment has been completed.
    • If a payment via the available methods fails or is refused by the payment service provider, the seller is not obliged to fulfill the order. In the event of a failed or refused payment, the seller reserves the right to claim all related costs or damages from the buyer.

  5. Delivery
    • The products will be shipped to the shipping address specified when ordering, such as home address or other specified address.
    • The seller strives to deliver the products as quickly as possible, and the buyer must make every effort to receive the products during the agreed delivery period.
    • If the ordered goods are not delivered within 30 days, an additional period can be agreed between the buyer and seller.
    • If no additional term is agreed, the agreement will be automatically terminated and the seller will refund any payments received within 30 days.

  6. Right of withdrawal
    • The right of withdrawal only applies to purchases via the webshop by natural persons or legal entities who acquire or use these products exclusively for non-professional purposes.
    • The Act of 6 April 2010 on Market Practices and Consumer Protection allows the consumer to notify the seller within 14 calendar days of receipt of the product that he will renounce the sale (cancellation), without penalty and without stating a reason. However, the buyer must include the bank details with which he wishes to receive the refund in his message.
    • The goods must then be returned within the same period at the expense of the buyer in the original, undamaged and original packaging together with all accessories, the instructions for use and (a copy of) the invoice/delivery note to:

    • Incomplete, damaged, used or soiled goods by the consumer will not be taken back.
    • At the latest 30 days after acceptance of the return, the seller will refund any sums paid, with the exception of the direct costs for returning the goods.

  7. Privacy
    • Your personal information is stored by the seller and stored in your personal account to enable the correct processing of your transaction. Once this data is stored, future transactions will be faster.
    • The seller complies with the Belgian law of December 8, 1992 regarding the processing of personal data, as amended by the law of December 11, 1998, which takes into account the European directive of October 24, 1995.
    • This law stipulates that the person or organization collecting data must obtain the consent of the person whose personal data is being processed. In addition, the data must be relevant, accurate and correct, and must be collected for specific, clear and lawful purposes. The person whose personal data is processed must have access to this data and the right to change the information concerning him/her.
    • The seller undertakes not to transmit any personal information to other organizations, with or without commercial purposes.

  8. Disputes
    In the event of any disputes, only the court of Leuven has jurisdiction.
